# [] Primary Machine Update
// PRIMARY_MACHINE: **ACTIVE**
// STATUS: **TESTING**
// MESSAGE - BEGIN
I want to be sure that it works, properly. For now we have a full boot to login screen. Next up, normal daily run with random tasks and some low powered games. Then we load up some AAA titles and push to max, and see how it holds up. I want to ensure function on max draw.
If max draw shows problems, I'll look into config or scripts to cap the max draw manually somehow, if that is even possible to keep things running smoothly. If that means no higher order gaming for now, cool beans. I've got a lot of work to do as it is.
If everything works out, I will then have to decide if I want to reinstall Window 11 fully and do a fresh start, or perhaps fuck around and find out with some CachyOS action and see how that serves me, however, CachyOS and or any other Linux distro I decide to experiment with on the desktop, can only happen if max power draw testing is cleared. If not, then will possibly only do a Windows 11 clean out or use a Linux distro not geared for high end performance, perhaps even just use the desktop as a home server and running all of my virtual machines for various different things.
The secondary virtual machine route will allow me to:
- Practice more in-depth Linux operations.
- Practice networking between virtual machines and running a network of servers, even though technically they are on the same machine, the learning portion is the important part for when transferring that knowledge into larger scale VPS hosting.
- Practice running Load Balancing and Master control systems to allow fallbacks to become active when primary systems fail.
- Practice having a watcher running at all times as a custom build to help essentially watch my back in the digital realm. (Yes, yes, solutions might exist, don't care, I wanna know what it would take to build one.)
- Practice and test game servers should I decide to build a game that isn't standalone and requires central processing and connection.
- Practice and test centralise server processing for large data sets based on applications that I build that will serve a function for users, and no, not for sale for any greedy fucks reading, fuck right off, thanks.
> Just as an addition to the above, **I fight for the user.** As much as many of whom might be lazy, bury-their-heads-in-the-fucking-sand or indifferent as they fucking could be, for which I hope they burn, I will still fight for them. Because there is no picking and choosing when fighting for what is right; agency, privacy, security. Everyone gets it. It is then everyone's job to do choose to do better, and if they see some shit, they should really be sayin' some shit. But with evidence and reason, not just witch-hunting for the purpose of controlling others. Which is why we can't have nice things, and it gives governments the opportunity to take maximum control, because humans are too stupid to be left to government themselves in smaller groups. Bonus for those doing the controlling? Lot's of money. Fuck you, cunts.
>
> As a result of fighting for the user, user data will NEVER be for sale. Anything I implement will NEVER be for sale. I will sell either an experience, or a finished product, but never the method or the means. And never the data. Either I believe something is so necessary that it will be free and open sourced under a license NO ONE is allowed to make money from it, or keep it to myself and let it serve it's purpose.
>
> Aw, does it hurt you to know how much money I might leave on the table? Sucks for you, doesn't it.
>
> Yeah, this wasn't meant to get so aggressive, but any time this topic comes up, blood boils. So I just wanted to be clear, and mayhaps vent a little.
More updates coming soon, which will include which direction I take the primary rig, but what my immediate plans will be regarding Zig development of high performance utilities and fun applications, to my game development and also the Pixel Art. Updates will also be including a new section of my website called "The Outpost"; an online store and membership area for anyone who wants either behind the scenes or to support my work via merch and print sales.
