# Zig
Why Zig?
I don't know. It seems like fun. It seems relatively clean from what I've looked into it. And it's something new that is gaining decent traction that by the time I've gotten into it and understood it, it'll also be 1.0 and I'll be able to do something interesting with it. While I will use Python for mostly everything I would like to transition into Zig eventually more full time and using it for everything.
Once I understand how things are supposed to work and how they are supposed to interact and be built, well, after that, improving it's size, memory and performance will be the next step and as far as I can see for now, Zig will be my choice for that.
